2010 Constitution Expert Passes On.

The President has today lead the country in mourning one of the Country’s well-known and top lawyer Sir Phillip Nzamba Kitonga who has passed away today Saturday, October 25th. According to reports, the Constitutional expert collapsed in his home area in Kitui while attending a burial and he breathed his last when being rushed to a hospital.
In his condolence message to the family, friends, the legal fraternity and relatives, President Uhuru Kenyatta has described the departed Senior Counsel as a Patriotic Kenyan with unmatched Legal Prowess.“I am deeply saddened by the death of my friend Senior Counsel Nzamba Kitonga, a pathfinder and fine constitutional lawyer whose successes in Public service are well documented. We will all remember and remain forever indebted to Nzamba and his Committee of Experts for seeing the nation through the 2010 Constitution and his many exploits as an outstanding lawyer, “His Excellency Eulogised.
Retired President Mwai Kibaki has also sent his condolences acknowledging Nzamba’s heroic acts that brought an end to a long-running quest for change that had lasted for not less than decades. Nzamba made his contribution through a trigger moment that will forever define Kenya’s statehood direction even in years to come. He goes down in the country’s records as a distinguished Kenyan who played a very important & outstanding role in redefining the course of our nation’s history.
The body of the late Constitutional expert has been moved from Machakos to Lee Funeral Home in Nairobi as Kenyans continue to eulogize him.
