“Be cautious”KEBS Tells Kenyans.

In a press release by KEBS yesterday, a number of companies have been de-listed because of production and distribution of substandard face masks produced by the said institutions.

The de-listed companies are Wandas Manufactures owned by Wandas General Supplies, Arax manufactures owned by Arax mills ltd and Hela intimates EPZ Ltd.

They have been instructed to set up corrective measure to mitigate their products effects and also to recall all their products from the market.

KEBS has also instructed all manufactures to adhere to the marking and labeling requirements as per the standards set in place.

The outbreak of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) has been declared a pandemic and the virus has now spread to many countries and territories.
