Top cop and his wife found dead in their house. This has prompted an action of security checks.
The investigations and findings
Detectives launched a probe after founding dead bodies of a senior cop and his wife at their house in Lungalunga, Kwale, on Sunday.
Inspector Tonik Oloo was found dead in a pool of blood together with his wife Lucy Atieno. Apparently the bodies were at their house at the Lungalunga Police Station police lines.

Oloo served at the Critical Infrastructure Police Unit.
Gunshot wounds were also all over the bodies, according to the reports which added that a pistol and three spend cartridges recovered from the scene.

Area sub county police commander Peter Nzimbi said the officer was in jovial moods while at work yesterday.
The senior cop and his wife leaves behind one child. Investigation still aims at identifying what caused their death.
“He was all, okay we are not sure might have happened. Furthermore, he didn’t show any signs of stress. Sometimes it’s difficult to know domestic wrangles of a couple,” Nzimbi told the report on the phone on Sunday.
Hopes remains in place for establishing the root cause of death of the two citizens.
The deceased was also an officer’s wife ran a shop at the police lines premises.
Since the two lived in police quarters fellow police move the bodies to Kinango sub-county hospital mortuary awaiting autopsy.
