Deputy President William Ruto yesterday during his second visit at Nyamira after the first one was stopped by police, said that he does not blame the police who stopped his meeting at Nyamira but instead blame the leaders who gave them instructions to do so.
“I do not blame police and I have no problem with them, they are passing through challenges like any other Kenyan, and they understand the problems our people are facing. “Ruto said.
Ruto’s meeting was tampered with after instructions were given by NSAC that anyone planning to hold a political meeting must inform police first at least three days before the event.
Ruto’s followers have been blaming cabinet secretary for internal security Fred Matiang’i and PS Karanja Kibicho for their favourism when implementing this rule.
