His Excellency unveils leadership academy

His Excellency President Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta disbands netizens who are denouncing his governance. President Uhuru in addition stated that he’s in full control even as his term comes to an end. His Excellency was speaking yesterday during the groundbreaking ceremony for the National Police Academy. The leadership Academy whose location is Embulmbul close to Ngong in Kajiado County will also hold two hundred and ten housing units for the police officers.

Central Bank Of Kenya supports the Leadership Academy Construction. The bank will also give capacity building and training services to the senior Officers. The whole construction project costs Kenya Shilling nine hundred and fifty-six million. Expectations are that by December the building project is complete. The President also claims to be the source of the Police Leadership Academy building initiative. “My administration desire to strengthen the leadership of our police services. As a result, this brought out the idea of a Police leadership academy,” stated His Excellency.

Over the past weeks, His Excellency has got it all left, right, and center. His friends and political opponents have given all manner of criticism and denouncement. Or rather we can say President Uhuru got it blue and black. The Building Bridges Initiative appears to be the source of Uhuru’s terrain of criticism. The BBI originated after the Uhuru and Raila handshake in the Mt Kenya area. However, Senate Majority Whip leader Irungu Kang’ata leaked letter showed half support of the initiative in the same region.

His Excellency Speech

During his speech, His Excellency chose to stand strong despite all the critics. “I want to remind you that even if am leaving, I still have some days to roar like a lion. It’s high time people stop thinking that there is a vacancy. Some of you people are looking at me thinking that because my term is almost up there is nothing I can do,” His Excellency said. His speech coincides with the ongoing succession race amid political leaders. He also adds that society should stop ridiculing the whole police force over the errors of a few of them.

The men in blue have for long been ridiculed for not arresting straying officers. For instance, it’s on rare occasions that an officer in the wrong act accountable for his actions. However, the government believes that the Leadership Academy will help solve these challenges as lack of leadership in the police force is the greatest problem. His Excellency also added that the academy will in time change people’s approach towards the police force leadership and management.

When this academy is complete, it’s going to be an excellence center for police leadership through research as well as advanced training,” His Excellency added.

Also, the training given in this place will expose our police to many situations that enable them to view life from different angles. As a result, bring out a better version of themselves,stated President Uhuru.

Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiangi, Kajiado Governor, Police IG, and also Central Bank Governor had accompanied His Excellency. Interior CS also emphasizes that the construction project will be the source of law implementation in the area.
