Nyoro and his Kandara counterpart Alice Wahome were on Monday summoned by the DCI over chaotic scenes at Kenol that left two people dead and several others injured.

Kiharu Member of parliament Ndindi Nyoro has maintained that he will not surrender to the police. He accused the office of the president saying it was on a mission to intimidate certain leaders.

While making his remarks on Citizen television morning show, Nyoro accused the government of sponsoring the youth to disrupt the church fundraiser. “Let me put it on the record. I am not surrendering to any police. I will not be used by murderers to cleanse their mess…. They have the system they can track my phone, they know all my where abouts every day,” he said.

He added and said, “They know that I was not involved in their mess, if you want to arrest me but will not be part of that narrative.”
