US President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump are now in quarantine after saying that they have tested positive for covid-19.

President Trump, who is now 74 years old, announced the news in a tweet where he said “we will get through this together”.

This comes after president Trump’s adviser, Hope Hicks tested positive for covid-19. He tweeted: “Hope Hicks, who has been working so hard without even taking a small break, has just tested positive for Covid-19. Terrible!

These results are seen to have effect on preparations for the second presidential debate, which is programmed for 15 October in Miami, Florida.
