Passengers using the Madaraka Express train service have been stuck today on Wednesday for an hour at the Ndii area in Voi.
This came after a series of earth tremors rocked Taita Taveta, bringing the 5-hour journey into uncertainty and an unexpected halt.
The journey was delayed as authorities embarked on inspecting the railway to ascertain whether it had been affected by the tremors.
It was not until the multi-agency team gave the green light that the train was allowed to leave the station. No one was injured as authorities were quick to react.Follow us in social media:
