Mohammed Tajiri who popularly known by his stage name as Mzee Makanyanga died yesterday evening, Tuesday, October 27th.He is set to be buried today in the afternoon at the Kariakor Muslim cemetery in Nairobi in line with Muslim traditions.
The actor died at the age of 85. According to his family, Tajiri was born in Pangani in 1935, passed away at his home in the Majengo area, Nairobi County. Gibson Mbugua, who plays the role of the prosecutor in the Vioja Mahakamani drama series, said the late Makanyanga will be remembered for his starring roles in the various programs he was engaged in. Mzee Makanyanga featured in various television programs at KBC, formerly VOK, such as Vitimbi, Zuberi, Chipukizi, Darubini, and vioja mahakamani.Follow us in social media:
